November 5, 2011  -  Atlanta Phoenix partnered with the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to speak and lead the stretching for runners participating in the 2011 Kids II Strong Legs Run on Saturday, November 5, 2011.  Over 6,000 runners included those qualifying for the 2012 Peachtree Road Race, the 5K Run/Walk, Mascot Trot, and 2K Fun Run.

December 2, 2011  -  On December 2nd & 3rd, your Atlanta Phoenix will be ambassadors for the city's hospitality! 20 representatives of the Phoenix family will be stationed throughout the city in designated areas assisting with promoting the 2011 SEC Football Championship Game! They can be seen in places like the Marriot Downtown, Georgia World Congress Center, and the Hilton Airport.

December 10, 2011  -  Atlanta Phoenix has been invited to participate in the Jingle Jog on Saturday, December 10th.  This is a great, high energy event that boasts 24 years of supporting the Salvation Army We'll be running the Jingle Jog Prize Walk, which is one of the most popular activities at the event. Show your support of the Salvation Army by joining us in this long standing tradition by bringing an unwrapped toy to the 24th Annual Jingle Jog 5K Run.  Click the Jingle Jog link for more details

501(c)(3) Notice:
Organizations organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety, literary, or educational purposes, or to foster national or international amateur sports competition, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals are eligible to file Form 1023 to obtain recognition of exemption from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Form 1023 is not necessary. The following types of organizations may be considered tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) even if they do not file Form 1023.
Churches, including synagogues, temples, and mosques.
Integrated auxiliaries of churches and conventions or associations of churches.

* Any organization that has gross receipts in each taxable year of normally not more than $5,000. (such as Phoenix Rising Awareness foundation)
